I wear it as a reminder to be grateful for my supportive family. It was a Christmas gift.

My great aunt passed away and left my father with a six diamond studded watch. My parents split them up into two pairs of earrings and two necklaces. My sister and I received them as Christmas gifts. It is rare that I don’t wear them. I don’t think I’ve taken the earrings out in over a year. Now, that is probably not very hygienic, but the point is that I wear them everyday to remind myself of family – of my parents – the most generous, supportive people I know.
